The EHIC Review and Forward service provides you with the reassurance that all of your details have been checked by us for common mistakes made during applications and that we will contact you directly should we believe there will be any problems with your application which could delay its processing. Your application will then be submitted to the NHSBSA by Portcreek on your behalf.

You can also apply for your spouse / partner at the same time and up to four dependant children. This service is for persons who are British, EU, EEA or Swiss Nationality, resident within the United Kingdom and over 16 years of age

* I want to renew my existing EHIC

To renew your EHIC you can either contact the NHSBSA by telephone on 0845 606 2030 or complete an application form which is available from the Post Office®

* I have lost my EHIC or had it stolen

To replace your lost or stolen EHIC you can either contact the NHSBSA by telephone on 0845 605 0707 (or if calling from abroad +44 191 212 7500) or write to the NHSBSA at: EHIC Enquiries, PO Box 1114, Newcastle Upon Tyne. NE99 2TL

* I already have a EHIC but want to apply for my dependant children

To apply for a EHIC for dependant children if you already have a EHIC you can either contact the NHSBSA by telephone on 0845 606 2030 or complete an application form which is available from the Post Office®
